Yesterday I talked about reviewing your resolutions. Today I’m going to briefly discuss journaling. I hope to inspire those that are succeeding and those facing setbacks.
For those that are doing well please review your journals and see what you are doing right. Then keep doing it. Sometime later in the year you might plateau, at that time you could check your journal again referencing your most successful weeks for ideas on what might work for you.
For those that are doing so-so, or let’s face it really crappy and you’re ready to throw in the towel. Refer to your journals….okay, about half of you don’t have a journal do you? If you’re not doing well, and you journal – honestly, then see what you are not doing well. Is it diet? Is it exercise? Try to shake up your plan a bit. Change your eating some more or add exercise if you haven’t already.
If you don’t journal, then add it to your program. It is going to make all the difference in the world. It is the second best thing you can do for yourself, after continuing your resolve and dieting into February.
