Friends that Motivate

Dieting is a struggle, and having just gotten back from vacation, all out of sorts from sleeping in and eating at odd hours, I was happy to start meeting with my diet conscious friends again. I have weight loss goals that need to be reevaluated.

This week’s meeting was extremely helpful for me as one of the dieters brought some exercise DVD’s to preview during our weight loss meeting. One of my dieting struggles lately has been trying to get an exercise routine started again. When I diet, I’m one of those people who need exercise. I need exercise to see results. Dieting alone does not give me enough in the way of feeling accomplished.

So we watched, boogied, were inspired and I had to thank her so much for sharing her experiences. Now newly motivate, I’ve looked at my weight loss goals in a new light and feel accomplished in one area, in that I know what I need to do now. Exercise!
