I have no idea why you lose water first. You might ask your doctor. I am sure that he might explain the reason to you. Maybe you might even find some information about it in the internet. Be careful-I am not sure if kioslim might amplify this effect. Might be possible

I don't think that kioslim has anything to do with it, I have heard from alot of people that you lose water first, but nobody knew why. Next time I go for my check up I will ask my doctor, he will be able to tell me why.

Found something about this in the internet:
Why you Lose Water Weight when dieting
The water weight loss comes from a net loss of protein and carbohydrates especially during the first few weeks of a reduction in calories. On reducing calories the body needs to rely more on energy within the body and thus breaks down protein and carbohydrate for metabolism. When these nutrients are metabolised water is released. Fat stores do supply a little of the energy but at first a good proportion comes from protein and the limited stores of carbohydrates within the cells.

The water is also holding toxins within our bodies. When you lose water weight, you are losing some of those toxins and salts as the water is flushed out of your body.
Make sure that you drink plenty of fresh water each day. This will help the toxins and fat to flush out of your system as well as provide several other health benefits.

WOW, I never knew that, that is very interesting. I guess I should stop drinking 2 pots of coffee in the morning and do just water, or does coffee flush out stuff also. How much water should I drink a day? I am taking a diet pill right now, does that mean I have to even drink more?

Most experts recommend at least 8 glasses of water each day. If you are drinking regular coffee, you will need to drink more water as coffee contains caffeine, which is a diuretic. As to diet pills, many of them recommend drinking more water in order for the pills to work more effectively.
Also, be warned that when you begin to drink more water, you'll be headed to the bathroom more often. LOL! This is good. Really! And it will slow down after a bit. Your body just needs to get used to it.
I posted an article on the main site today about water weight. Here is a link: http://www.weightreductioncoach.com/what-the- ...
I'll do another one soon on the importance of drinking water. I'll post a link for you when I get it done.
Is there anything else I can help with?

Eight glasses of water? Wow that is a lot. I used to drink about five I guess. I think I should change that at once although I don't really know how. But I will try and I am going to check out that other thread too! Why do you know all these things?

That is a lot of water, might as well spend the day you know where. I am going to try and drink that much, because of all the coffee I drink. Does water really wash away the fat in your body? I will check out your link, how do you know so much? Were you overweight?

I have struggled with my weight in the past. I also am one of those people who read voraciously and I love to learn about health and fitness. LOL! I've had a lot of trial and error in the past and I have picked up lots of great tips along the way from several people who have showed me how to become healthier.
Water definitely helps you to lose weight. It takes a little while to get used to drinking so much, but you eventually get used to it. It is great when it actually becomes your drink of choice! I hate the tap water where I live, so I have a Culligan water cooler and I drink that filtered water all of the time. I am VERY picky when it comes to my water! LOL! I am often found to have a water bottle in my hand and I refill it frequently. I actually drink more than 8 glasses each day and I rarely drink soft drinks anymore. I just feel better drinking my water.

Boy, I wish I could do that, how long did it take you to just like water, actually I would love to just want to drink water, except for my coffee, that I will never give up, not for nothing. But it would be nice to not worry about what to drink, and it is also healthier. I am going to try and drink more, esp. while taking kioslim.

You know, I'm not really sure WHEN I began preferring water. I just did. It has been such a long time now, that I have trouble imagining life without it. LOL!
If you don't like water, try filtered. It tastes much better. That makes all of the difference in the world to me. I also think that is how I began to like it. There are lots of ways that you can get that water in. Make a game of it. It can be fun!

I guess I understand how you got to like water better, before I use to drink alot of pop, and then somewhere along the line, I started drinking coffee (which now I just Love !!) then I started on herb teas, I drink my coffee untill afternoon, then I change to my teas. Seldom do I ever drink pop anymore. Of course sometimes I crave a root beer, so I do drink a diet one, but not very often. I guess a change is possible.

It is possible but it is not very easy. I really enjoy going out for dinner but what do say when they waiter asks you what to drink. Just water...well I don't really like that and usually I still say diet coke...But I also like minute made lemonade. Do you know if this drink is also high on calories?

I think minute maid is full of calories, I never tried it, I make my lemonade fresh, but of course I use to put sugar in it, but now I use Splenda. This drinking thing is not really easy, I just don't know what to drink any more, I better just get use to water and leave my Koolaid alone.

You should really try it. It is so good. I know that there is also a diet minute made but unfortunately they don't serve it at places. How do you make your own lemonade? I have never done this. Does it taste just like the one you may buy in a supermarket?

I use real lemons or real lemon juice and just mix it with water and then add the sweetner, that's all, slice a few lemons and let them swim on top of the ice, YUMMY!!!!It is easy, but now I do put splenda in it and it tastes just as good.
